Writer

Requirements

* A university degree with a major in Journalism, Mass Communication or English Language
* At least 3years experience in high end magazine with features/lifestyle writing experience
* Write English at a native speaker’s level
* Good knowledge of international affairs
* Proactive, accurate, responsible, independent
* Can work at a fast rate to cope with deadlines

We are also looking for a Sub-Editor position in our Education section of The Standard to work on a range of titles: Rewrite raw copy, Edit copy, Sub copy to the correct length, Write good headlines, standfirsts and picture captions, Check facts to ensure they are accurate, proofread pages, write articles, etc.
