Next Media Animation – the Taiwanese media company and animation studio that brought you the viral, animated video about Tiger Woods, Steven Slater/Jet Blue, and recently, the TSA body scanners and our ‘feud’ with Conan O'Brien – is looking to hire temporary writers/producers to work in Taiwan.

The applicant must be a college graduate. He or she can be Taiwanese or Taiwanese-American but must have excellent English language skills, particularly in reading and writing. A good handle on Mandarin, of course, is necessary as one will be living in Taipei.

The applicant can be currently located in Taiwan or in the US but must be legally qualified to work in Taiwan. Ideally, if the applicant is from the US, he or she will have family ties in Taiwan to make the transition easier.

No experience is necessary. Compensation: NT50,000/month. For hire immediately.

Those interested, please send a resume and two short writing samples (one serious piece and one lighthearted/comedic/witty piece) to email address above.

Compensation: NT50,000/month
