Description: The 100,000LE Arabic novel prize is awarded by Egypt’s Ministry of Culture every two years during the International Forum for Arab Novel Creativity. Previous awards went to Libyan novelist Ibrahim al-Kouny, Saudi novelist Abdel Rahman Meneif, Sudanese novelist al-Tayyeb Saleh and Egyptian Edward al-Kharrat.
