Pallava Bagla Wins the David Perlman Award for Excellence in Science Journalism

A science journalist from India has been chosen to receive the David Perlman Award for Excellence in Science Journalism. Pallava Bagla won the award for his series of articles on the impact of climate change on Himalayan glaciers published in Science and BBC News. The AGU journalism awards will be presented this year at the 2010 AGU Fall Meeting (December 13-–17) in San Francisco.
