Fondation Liban Cinema-FLC, in collaboration with the Institut Français du Liban and the Delegation of the European Union, is organising a workshop for script rewriting for fiction feature films. The five days workshop will be held in Beirut, beginning December 2012.
The workshop will be directed by one European scriptwriter and one Lebanese scriptwriter.
During the workshop, the two scriptwriters will carry out individual sessions with five Lebanese directors and/or scriptwriters and offer them advice and guidance in the process of re writing their scripts in order for them to make their scripts more complete more appealing to international producers. A follow-up session will be organised six months later.
The two scriptwriters will be selected according to their professional experience and teaching capacities. Their names will be announced early October.
The fiction feature film projects submitted must be original works of fiction for cinema. A selection committee made of professionals will select the five projects that will participate in the workshop.
All Lebanese scriptwriters and directors, beginners as well as professionals, may apply by sending their projects to the FLC.

- Synopsis (10 lines)
- Treatment of 10 pages (story developed from beginning to end)
- Director’s statement
- Curriculum vitae (including contact details)
- DVD of previous films (if the candidate has already directed films).
