Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering National Essay Competition 2011
Deadline: 5 October 2011

Introduction : IIIE is organising an essay competition for encouraging the technical writing skills. The best essay in each category will be awarded a Gold Trophy / Medal and runner up would get Silver Trophy / Medal at Award ceremony on in December 2011 at Delhi. The award winning essays shall be published in the Industrial Engineering Journal. All the paper received will be the property of IIIE and will not be returned to the participants.

Eligibility :

Category 1: Organisation
Category 2: Open to all
Category 3: Students

Essay Guidelines : Essay should be original, in English and not exceeding 3,000 words, including foot notes and references. Font must be in Arial size 12.

Jury : Essays shall be evaluated by eminent persons from Industry and Academia.

Topic: “Manufacturing Challenges For the Emergent India”

Submission Procedure : Soft Copy of essay to be sent to iiieprogramme@gmail.com or iiiejournal@gmail.com with ‘Essay’ mentioned in the Subject lines, and four number of hard copies by post to Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Plot 103, Sector 15, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai–400 614. Category of author should be clearly mentioned. Authors are requested to submit the certificate of originality. Authors would be solely responsible of any claim of copy-right violation.

Declaration of Results : November 10th, 2011
