First Friday Writers’ Corner: Society of Singapore Writers
Date: 1 July 2011

The Society of Singapore Writers seeks to serve the interests of the literary community. Our First Friday Writers' Corner (FFWC) meets at the YMCA Orchard Cafe/ Terrace, level 4 (opposite SMU). July First Friday Writers’ Corner will be from 6:00pm till 10:00pm. Journal writing will be discussed.

Keeping a journal is a good way to document your writing journey. It has both literary and therapeutic benefits, as we can increase our ability to describe, to record where are at, and to recognize our own blind spots.

Facilitator will be Maurice Neo, Society of Singapore Writers President. The formal programme starts at 7pm. The time between 6pm and 7pm is for you. If you have written anything you would like to have reviewed, come by early. We'll be glad to provide a sounding board. All genres welcome.
