Established in 1992 to address Afghanistan’s dire humanitarian challenges, the mission of DHSA has grown to promote a dynamic and capable civil society as a means to solving Afghanistan’s challenges from a grass roots level and by combining local know-how with global innovation.
Today, DHSA’s key areas of focus are independent media (TKG), education, the celebration and preservation of culture and environmental protection.
DHSA seeks to be self sustainable, striving to create and manage projects which generate their own incomes and reduce dependence on donors.

The dignity of the staff is of utmost concern for the organization as is their professional development. To date, great attention and investment has been given to professional and organizational capacity building, made possible in large part to the support of various international partners, the European Commission, NOVIB and USAID.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Participation in all press conferences
• Collection of opinions based on the content of Report (Public, Government athourities, NGOs etc)
• Preparation of Provincial News (Political, Social, Security and rehabilitation)
• Preparation of news at country & world level
• Any other duties assigned by the relevant supervisor
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Journalism/literature from national or international universities or 1 – 2 years of experience in media.
• Computer knowledge specifically MS office and Win XP.
• Dominance on local languages (Dari & Pashto).
