The National, the English-language newspaper based in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is accepting applications for a senior copy editor.
The newspaper has brought together journalists from some of the most important news organizations in the UK and North America, and has established itself as the Middle East's quality English-language broadsheet.
The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of the finer points of newspaper editing – from general news to magazine-style features – and be able to help foster a culture of accuracy and professionalism in the newsroom. Familiarity with Middle Eastern issues and culture is an advantage.
We offer very competitive salaries and benefits packages, including one flight home a year. Income in the UAE is tax-free. Applicants must be willing to relocate to the UAE.
