Job Opening: Online Editor for China Highlights
China Highlights is a leader in the travel business in China. We wish to employ one online editor to assist in editing content on our web site. There are also many other volunteer positions that may lead to paid online work. See http://www.chinahighlights.com/aboutus/jobs-volunteer.asp

Job Description

A. Proofreading of articles and web pages. Review articles for
1. Correct English (grammar, spelling, vocabulary)
2. Appropriate English (language, sentence structure, expression)
3. Content (review content, marketing focus, cultural aspects, make suggestions for additional content).

Requirements

1. Applicants should possess excellent written skills, with a flair for language.
2. Travel experience.
3. Finish work assigned in a timely manner. Employees should respond within 48 hours of receiving a work request.
4. Have enough time to finish at least 15,000 words of editing each month.

People who are currently living in China are preferable. Salary negotiable.
