Position Description:
The role covers three main segments of which the writer will be involved:
The first role will involve performing research to identify business needs for a particular website, set expectations, and organize the website content. Based on your research you will write informative and compelling content for the websites while incorporating the required keywords or search terms.
The second role will involve writing lead generation scripts for companies product and service offerings in a concise manner to be used by our lead generation agents in calls to prospective clients in North America.
The third role will be to write company blogs that are relevant, and SEO enabled for exposure of our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Blog article writing (SEO optimizated)
* Article submission to Social bookmarking sites
* Website content creation
* Journal/newsletter writing
* Dictation for transcription
* Must promote the articles through article submissions, link building, and social networking
* Updated in the newest trends and applications available in the internet
* Researching, writing, proofing profiles of businesses for web and print
* Formulates, writes, edits, reviews all copy material (may prepare web content, news and public relations releases, special creative executions other related material).
* Write search-engine friendly articles for web publishing
* Research and write content for websites and products.
* Formulates, reviews, evaluates, and edits final proofs before submission to client
* May also communicate directly with the creative services team for graphic layouts projects
* Experienced in writing effective copy for print ads, brochures, fliers, TVCs and AVPs
* Internet savvy and quick to learn online tools
Requirements:
* A graduate of Communications, Arts, Journalism or any related course from a reputable scholastic institution.
* Excellent professional writing, reading and speaking skills in English is required.
* Creativity and passion for writing as well as professionalism and enthusiasm are highly necessary to succeed in this role.
* Able to work independently as well as in a team
* Knowledge in blogging is an advantage. (ex. Blogger, Wordpress, Live Journal)
* Possesses versatile writing styles suited for technical and creative writing material
* Effective interpersonal and active listening skills
* Should be able to relate to all levels of management and must be able to blend well with various cultures.
* Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
