Keeping It Halal.com's Verse vs. Verse Student Poetry Contest (Canada)
Deadline: 14 March 2011

Keepingithalal.com and McMaster Muslim Students Association bring to you Verse Vs. Verse a national online poetry competition. It’s a chance for students attending Canadian post-secondary institutions to use their creative literary aptitude and take part in our efforts to search for the top 2011 poet in Canada. We want to seek out talent that many youth in Canada possess but do not always have a platform to display their poetic capabilities. We will be searching from the Rockies in British Columbia to the Lighthouses in Nova Scotia, up to the Igloos in Nunavut, down to the Falls in Ontario. So, who will win the Grand Prize of $150 and take home the title of Canada’s Top Poet?
