We are a dynamic publishing arm under the POPULAR group of companies, specialising in a wide range of commissioned bilingual general interests, lifestyle, commercial and corporate publications for local and regional market.

EDITOR (CHINESE)

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the conceptualising and editorial for a diverse range of publications. This includes in-house, corporate and commercial publications and various kinds of magazines for general and special interest market.

Requirements

* Degree in Chinese Language/ Translations/ Communications or related discipline
* Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, with excellent proficiency in written Chinese (to edit and administrate Chinese publication).
* Minimum 2 years of editorial experience in the publishing industry and/or Chinese media organisations
* Experience in translation will be a definite advantage
* Possess excellent news sense as well as a sound knowledge of local and foreign lifestyle trends
* Computer savvy, with working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, Chinese word processing software, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
* Well organised, meticulous and has strong initiative
* Positive and creative in taking up new challenges
* Able to multi-task, manage various projects and meet tight deadlines
