Centre for Communication Studies has been successfully bringing out the mass communication research and news feature journal ‘Media Watch’ since 2009.

The next special issue of Media Watch will cover on INTERNET ADVERTISING. As the subject is impressing enough to note that global digital advertising share of the total advertisement investment has raised from 3.1 per cent in 2001 to 14.6 per cent in 2010. Internet advertising has been the principal source of media investment growth in western nations since 2001. In many developing countries including India, the Internet advertising is rapidly establishing its strong base among the advertisers and marketers.

In this context, they wish to give coverage on this topic in the forthcoming issue of the Media Watch alongwith other subjects. If you have interest in the topic and done some innovative study on the said subject or related subject, the Editor, Media Watch invites you to submit quality research paper(s) latest by 30th April 2011.

Important Notes

Authors are requested to follow Media Watch’s style sheet while preparing their articles. The style sheet is posted in Media Watch Website (www.mediawatch.org.in). It will help for faster processing and error-free editing if authors follow the recommended style sheet, especially with regard to reference, citation and preparation of the bibliographies. Contributions should be sent preferably by e-mail. Receipt of the articles will be acknowledged immediately by e-mail or post. Efforts are taken to complete early processing of received papers for internal reading and external refereeing. It can take some time for a final decision on whether the paper is accepted for publication. As a part of editorial policy, invited papers on specialised themes with immediate importance would be considered for early publication.
