The UK Confucius Institute presents the first-ever Moon Festival Poster and Essay Competition
The UK Confucius Institute and the Kentucky Chinese American Association will hold a competition based upon the theme of the Moon Festival to celebrate this traditional Chinese holiday.

Written Essay Competition
Poster Competition
Levels:
Elementary School (grades 1 - 4)
Middle School (grades 5 - 8)
High School (grades 9 - 12)
Winners in each Category and Level will receive:
1st Place: $100 Giftcard and Medal
2nd Place: $50 Giftcard and Medal
3rd Place (x3): $30 Giftcard and Medal
The Awards Ceremony will take place at the Moon Festival Celebration Party co-sponsored by Chinese American Association and The University of Kentucky Confucius Institute on September 18, 2010.

Please send your Registration Form (supplied by your teacher or available online at: www.uky.edu/confucius/events/moon_festival.php) and Finished Work postmarked no later than September 14 (Tuesday) to:
