Deadline: 31 December 2010
EQUINOX PUBLISHING and THE PROSE-POEM PROJECT are compiling an anthology of prose poems entitled CLASSIFIEDS. We are inviting additions to our collection through December 31, 2010. The front and back covers below are the explanation of what we're looking for. Prose poems submitted must be intended exclusively for this book. Please use the SUBMISSION FORM to submit as many entries as you wish up to 10. Only serious literary efforts will be considered. There is no specific word limit other than the natural one (on the shorter side) imposed by the prose poem form. As the development of this book is dependent on the volume of inspired submissions, we especially appreciate your willingness to participate in our book project.
SMALL PRINT: If the volume of submissions is not sufficient to publish the proposed book-length anthology, the collected poems will be published in a special issue of The Prose-Poem Project. At the end of the reading period, we will contact those whose poems we have accepted and will attach a letter of agreement regarding terms and conditions of their inclusion in either the anthology or the journal issue. We regret that we can offer no payment at this time for submissions; however, a percentage of royalties, if any, for this edition and/or an edition resulting from the sale of the anthology to a mass market publisher will be divided appropriately among contributors as per a standard contract.
