Join other Sister Writers in this renowned workshop - Starting Wednesday, September 15th - Open Fall with 5 weeks of writing, reading, sharing feedback, and exploring your creative voice and style. Space is limited to 10 Writers - $150, ($25 deposit holds your seat).
The workshop offers women writers, published or beginners, a safe, supportive, and creatively stimulating, environment to develop or enhance the art of writing. WOC is not a class, but a workshop that allows writers to write, and experiment with figurative language, imagery, character development, the uses of dialogue, setting, cliche’ and more. WOC writers use poetry, fiction, nonfiction and other to tell our stories; to celebrate who we are. WOC writers also have opportunities to present portions of their manuscripts for feedback, join WOC Readings and Performances, free Poetry writing workshops, participate in WOC Anthologies and other literary experiences. WOC uses the renowned Amherst Writers &Artist (AWA) Creative Writing Method, using a series of prompts and exercises where ideas thoughts and feelings flow easily in all genres.
