Ten Pasadula Playwriting Fellows Named
Renowned dramatists Bonifacio Ilagan, Al Santos, Manuel Pambid, Glecy Atienza, and Reuel Molina Aguila will mentor 10 Metro Manila writing fellows to an intensive playwriting workshop beginning 21 August in UP, Diliman.

Called Pandayan sa Dula or Pasadula, the 10 participants to the three-month workshop are Eric Aguilar, Ma. Stephanie Joy Andaya, Tyron Judes D. Casumpang, Noel Galon de Leon, Arvin Tiong Ello, Mari Joyce Villanueva Laspuña, Cara Cristina B. Red, Joshua Lim So, Ted Jan C. Rubio, and John Romeo L. Venturero.

The workshop has three phases: a lecture series, one-on-one mentoring, and the staging of the new plays.

Pasadula is sponsored by the UP Departamento ng Filipino at Panitikan ng Pilipinas (DFPP) and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

Dr. Jimmuel Naval, DFFP Chair, and Prof. Reuel M. Aguila serve as Workshop Directors. Dr. Glecy Atienza heads the NCCA National Committee on Dramatic Arts.
