Hong Kong Writers' Circle's Flash Fiction Competition

Hong Kong Writers' Circle's Flash Fiction Competition
Hot on the heels of the Postcard Story Competition, the HKWC's next anthology-related competition is for Flash Fiction or Sudden Fiction. A short short-story, which is less than 1,000 words, but has all the elements of a longer short story. As with the Postcard Story competition, the contest is open to both members and the public, but only entries by fully paid up members of the HKWC will be eligible for publication in The Long & The Short of It anthology.

Judging will be blind, so please include a cover email with your entry which gives:

1. Your Name
2. Story Name
3. Telephone Number
4. Email Address

While there is no need to have your story set in Hong Kong, it would be appreciated if there was at least a tangential link to Hong Kong. All submissions must be new and unpublished. There will be a HK$300 Dymocks voucher for the winning story and honourable mentions for the runners-up. Please contact Melanie Ho at melalho@gmail.com for more information or to submit an entry.
