Australian Women Online Wants You to Write For Them
Short Fiction: 1,000 – 5,000 words
Australian Women Online now publishes quality short fiction on the website. We welcome all categories of popular women’s fiction, including: contemporary romance, historical romance, mystery, crime, suspense, paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, chiclit and literary fiction. Stories do not have to contain romance however, your work must appeal to a predominantly female audience.

We are currently offering between $50 and $150 (depending on story length) for every short story published on the website.

Submission Guidelines
Place the title of your short story in the subject line of the email and attach your submission in a word document or within the text of the email. Please remember to include your name, contact details and short a bio including any previously published work, in the text of the email.

After you submit your short story to Australian Women Online, someone from our team will review your submission and if your short story is accepted for publication on the website, we will get back to you within 14 days.

Both published and previously unpublished authors are invited to submit short stories for consideration to: shortfiction@australianwomenonline.com.
