In 2011, Vietnamese Women's Union of Australia (Melbourne - Victoria, Australia) will hold its 100th anniversary via an International Women's Day Festival. The Association will hold its Hai Ba Trung Hai Ba writing contest.
Competition Theme: "Hai Ba Trung and Women in the 21st Century"
Eligibility: Anyone can enter
Category: literature, poetry, short stories, plays, research papers, reviews etc.
Language: Vietnamese or English
Winners will be announced during the festival on 04/03/2011.
Awards: Total prize value of over $ 10,000 Australian dollar
• 1st Prize: $ 5000 Australian dollar
• 2nd Prize: $ 2000 Australian dollar
• 1 Third Prize: $ 1,000 Australian dollar
• 10 consolation prizes: $ 200 per Australian dollar prize
• In addition, there may be additional prizes in kind and will be announced later, depending on sponsors
Conditions:
1. 3,000 words maximum
2. Articles must be typed, font: Times New Roman, size: 12 (use Unicode for Vietnamese) and sent via e-mail: haibatrung21@avwa.org.au
