An initiative by homegrown mobile application developer, Omnitoons Pte Ltd, Singapore’s 1st iAuthor Contest 2010 is a pioneer nationwide event. The contest is open to students of all secondary schools, junior colleges and international schools. Essentially, the contest challenges participants to create their own mobile newsletters. Held in conjunction with the inaugural National Engineers Day (NED) by IES, these newsletters will have to be based on ‘The Impact of Engineering on Singapore”. NED aims to expose the public, especially our young generation, to the importance of engineering to a nation’s living and development. The contest will as such, allow our young generation to explore the latest technologies while learning more about engineering!
