Technikon Online Writing Competition (India)

Technikon is an online writing event spanning 3 weeks leading up to Tryst 2013 which commences on March 2. The current topic is 'Batman vs Iron Man'.

GUIDELINES:

• Participants are to write articles on the specified topic. The title of the article is to be chosen by the participant keeping in mind the topic.
• The top 3 articles on each topic shall receive attractive prizes.
• While posting an article, you shall have to include 2 tags - 'technikon' and the current topic. At the end of the article, in the main text, include your Tryst-2013 ID. Note that once a new topic is announced, new entries for an older topic shall not be taken into account. Also, new ratings for an article on a previous topic shall not be taken into account once a new topic has been declared.
• The top articles are judged based on ratings. A minimum of 5 ratings are required for an article to qualify for the contest.Note that the ratings shall follow FirstQuarto terms and conditions. Rating of an article is calculated by taking into account the rater's credibility. Garnering frivolous and ill-judged ratings in large numbers does not ensure a high rating for an article unless the raters have a high credibility. So, essentially, Facebook likes, Twitter tweets etc. do not contribute towards rating.
• To get started, and create a Tryst-2013 ID if you do not already have one, kindly register with Tryst 2013, IIT Delhi here.
• After you are done with your Tryst registration, register with FirstQuarto here.
