Aleph Book Company is looking for an ASSOCIATE EDITOR
Do you have a minimum of two years’ experience in an editorial capacity at a well-known publishing house? Do you use the English language with fluency and flair? Have you been reading literary fiction and quality non-fiction since you were knee-high to a grasshopper? Do you have a degree in the humanities from a good college in India or one of the Anglophone countries?
If you have answered yes to all the above questions then you might be the person we are looking for to join a small team (of editors, designers and marketers) which is fiercely committed to publishing world-class books by world-class literary writers out of India. The job entails long hours and an absolute commitment to publishing excellence; in return we offer a competitive wage and the opportunity to work with some of the finest authors of our time in a convivial work environment.
