Call for Entries from Young Writers: Jeri Telstar Writing Contest (HK, Singapore, Thailand, China)
Deadline: 16 October 2012

The Jeri Telstar Writing Contest promotes creativity and English writing in primary education. Children aged 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 can enter the writing contest and get a unique opportunity to see their stories published.

Students may choose to complete any of the three Jeri Telstar stories in 300 words. Please remember the philosophy of Jeri Telstar is knowledge is power. Students' typed entries should be accompanied by a letter stating their name, address, the name and the address of the school. their current age and date of birth. Essays can be submitted directly to our company by the students.

TIMELINE: Entries can be submitted from 17th September 2012 and the deadline for submission of entries is 16th October 2012.

2 winners will be chosen from each country: Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and China. One aged between 7-9 and a second aged between 10- 12. Each winner will receive:
  • For their school — a complete set of p3 children’s books
  • For themselves — 20 bound copies of their fiction story
