Global Festival 2012 invites international university students from all over the world to take part in its one and only article writing competition! We invite you to see the future of APEC from youth’s perspectives with the prerequisite of:
THEME: “The Future of APEC: APEC in Youth’s Perspective”
THEME DESCRIPTION: Asia Pacific’s future advancement, especially its economic cooperation in regional area through Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) will be interesting if we look from young generation’s views. Therefore, the topic of Article Writing Competition for this year is “The Future of APEC: APEC in Youth’s Perspective”. Opinions and overviews about forthcoming APEC from youth will predict how APEC will maintain its work and significance in Asia Pacific region.

- Judgment : November 1 – 14, 2012
- Announcement : November 15, 2012
- Participants will not be charged with any registration fees
- This competition is individual, not groups
- This competition is eligible to international undergraduate students program from all countries
- Participants have to fill the registration form which can be downloaded at globfest.com
- Article’s title is free to decide, as long as it accords to our theme
- It has to be a minimum of 1500 words and maximum 2500 words, A4-sized paper, font Times New Roman 12, single-spaced.
- It has to be written in English
- Participants has to equip his or her article with a proper citation format
- Zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and the party will be disqualified
- Excerpt, registration form and scanned passport or ID (for Indonesian) must be sent to awc.globfest2012@yahoo.com in one email subjected “AWC_Your Full Name_University”
- The article should be original and never been published anywhere
- All excerpts is the property of Global Festival 2012
- Judges’ decision is legitimate and cannot be contested
