NEWSWRITER (ISLAMABAD, PK)
Newswriters monitor various news wires, newspapers and company Web sites to gather information and write articles about the companies within SNL's covered industries. They also investigate and facilitate in abstractions of newsworthy items in SEC documents. This information is published on SNL's real-time interactive Web site and in daily newsletters.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS INCLUDE: effective written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, familiarity with financial markets, knowledge of AP style, computer proficiency and good understanding of English grammar, vocabulary and punctuation. Bachelor's degree and Journalism-related experience preferred. Experience compiling information and materials from a variety of sources to produce a product within strict deadlines a plus.
