ASSISTANT EDITOR (AHMEDABAD, IN)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: High-level written English language ability. Minimum 4 years of Editing experience preferred. Prior news editing experience with a newspaper, magazine or newsletter. Fluency in journalistic areas (AP style, libel issues, etc.) Editorial skills a must.

- News editing. Edits stories as required, with an eye toward clarity, accuracy and consistency with SNL procedures.
- Training. Works one-on-one with editors and writers in India and Pakistan offices to improve written English of existing India/Pakistan news workforce.
- News writing. Writes stories as assigned.
- Completes other assignments or projects as assigned.
