The Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo is organissing an Essay Competition on Rabindranath Tagore in Sinhala, Tamil and English for the Advanced Level and under graduate students of the Universities in Sri Lanka.
The competition is part of its activities to celebrate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. In each language category there will be three cash prizes and certificates. The first prize will be Sri Lankan Rupees 15,000, the second prize will be Sri Lankan Rupees 10,000 and the third prize will be Sri Lankan Rupees 5,000 in each language category.
