Wonder no more--come down to learn the Art of Creative Writing with Low Kay Hwa, best-selling author (The Sunday Times, POPULAR & Times) of For That Day and A Singapore Love Story!
There is a formula for writing a page-turner; just like the equation for a straight line (y=mx+c)! Participants will write a 500-word story. The best stories, selected by Low Kay Hwa and NLB, will walk away with these prizes!

Low Kay Hwa will not be sharing the "chim" stuffs (Dramatic irony? Poetic licence? Unreliable nar--what? You thought it's just metaphors and similes?); it's not another literature lesson. He will talk about the basics of creative writing; therefore, whether you're eight or eighty, come join this free workshop!
What you'll learn:
- What plot, style and characters are
- Why we should plan before writing
- How to write an addictive story
It's more than a workshop; it's an experience. You'll get a chance to write a 500-word story while being mentored by Low Kay Hwa.
