Dar Al-Fikr School is a non-profit institution, dedicated to superior education. Established in 1985, educating above 750 students aged 3 to 18, Kindergarten through grade 12th. It offers own designed Unified Fikr Program, which is an integrated curriculum the national and international. Also the school provides an American based curriculum where students study the majority of their subjects through the medium of English, and the school prepares the students for TOEFL and SAT tests. It aims at providing generation with a distinguished education to support the society and the country.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop + enhance + lead extra curricular activities
• Develop lesson plans that ensure the attainment of learning standards and that support project based learning.
• Address individual needs of students through long and short term planning.
• Prepare students adequately for all required assessments.
• Evaluate students' progress on a continuous basis.
• Prepare individual student achievement reports for parents.
• Provide an inviting, exciting, innovative, and challenging learning environment.
• Engage in effective and appropriate classroom management.
• Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate by the English Dept. Head and Principal.
Salary and Benefits: An outstanding package is available for successful teacher.
Working hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday - Wednesday + 9:a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday
Day off: Friday.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor/Master's Degree, majoring in English is a plus
• Teaching License or Diploma specialized with grades 1-3
• Experience in teaching American or British curricula
• Computer literate for electronic teaching purposes
• Experienced in using creative teaching techniques such as project-based curriculum
• Demonstrated ability to work with various student levels
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Minimum teaching experience years 3
• Native speakers of English preferred
