One World Telecom (OWTEL) is a multinational company that is comprised of different nationalities with its head office in Hong Kong and its branch offices in U.S.A. and Canada. It was established in Hong Kong in 1999 and opened its branch office in Manila, Philippines on July 2004. Its main services are long distance carriers in Canada, Hong Kong and U.S.A., print media in Hong Kong and Indonesia which is called "HK News", audio visual products and health supplement which is called “Dr. Smith”.

Writer / Reporter

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Journalism, Mass Communication or any related course.
* At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in writing/editing business news, press releases, market research.
* Exceptional command of written and spoken English and Filipino languages. Must have superior copywriting and presentation skills;
* Can work under extreme pressure and minimum supervision; self-motivated and hardworking;
* Computer-proficient. Proficient in referencing and researching (e.g. via the Internet) Multi-media skills are a plus;
* Professional attitude. No reservations on working beyond business hours.

Job Description:

* Responsible to write articles, rewrites press releases, conducts interviews and researches details necessary for stories.
* Attend press conferences and events, interview guests and coordinate photography.
* Write news of relevance and importance to readers and the Pilipino community.
* Build a network of sources and contacts in Hong Kong and in the Philippines.
