Come and celebrate the issue launch of 16.1: Generations Issue with the staff and contributors of Ricepaper Magazine. Based in Vancouver, Ricepaper Magazine is Canada’s only Asian-Canadian arts and culture literary magazine.


Ricepaper’s 16.1 Generations Issue Launch Party

Time: Doors open at 7:00 pm

Location: Rhizome Café, 317 East Broadway, Vancouver, BC

The night includes live music and special guests Changming Yuan, Sabrina Mehra Furminger, Ray Hsu, C.E. Gatchalian, Howie Tsui, Larissa Lai, and Testuro Shigematsu.

Rhizome Café has food and drink available for purchase throughout the night and is fully licensed.

Admission is by donation (no one will be turned away for lack of funds). A suggested donation of $10 will include a copy of the 16.1 Generations issue and a donation of $15 will include a one-year Ricepaper subscription. In addition to an evening of live entertainment and a copy of the magazine, a $10-20 donation also helps support the next issue.
