UP Writers Club Summer Workshop for Kids and Teens (Philippines)

UP Writers Club (UPWC) is the University of the Philippines' finest literary organization since its establishment in 1927. Since then, it has never ceased to produce Philippine Literary giants. The roster of acclaimed alumni include National Artists for Literature Virgilio Almario, Edith Tiempo, Manuel Arguilla, F.Sionil Jose, NVM Gonzales, Jose Garcia Villa and Nick Joaquin.

It holds regular writing workshops, literary readings, the annual Writers Night and other significant events in cooperation mostly with the UP Institute of Creative Writing (UP ICW), Unyon ng Manunulat sa Pilipinas (UMPIL) and the National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCAA). The club is open to both writers in English and Filipino.
