The Society of Sarawakians Student Essay Writing Competition (Borneo)
Date: 7 May 2011 (Miri City Day), 2-4 pm

Organizers: The Society of Sarawakians Writing in English (Soswe), Miri City Council (MCC) and Pustaka Miri

Topic: ‘What Can I Do In My Home and At School To Keep The Environment Green?’

Eligibility: The competition is open to Form One to Five students residing in Miri

Quick Guidelines: No limit in words and should be handwritten in English

Prizes: Champion will take home cash prize of RM300, while first and second runner-ups will receive RM150 and RM100 respectively apart from trophies and certificates. There will be consolation prizes for good entries and participating certificates for all participants. Citations will be given to the writers.

Fine Print: All essays will be the property of Sosowe. They may be reprinted for educational publications and used in workshops.
