The Extra Mile Productions announces the conduct of the General Miguel Malvar Essay Writing Contest in commemoration of the 100th Death Centennial Anniversary of General Miguel Malvar, one of the country's great revolutionary generals and heroes, with the theme, General Miguel Malvar - National Hero for Modem Times.
Objective: To commemorate the Centennial (100 years) Death Anniversary of Gen. Miguel Malvar, Hero and President
Theme: GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR – NATIONAL HERO FOR MODERN TIMES
Mechanics:
1. Open to all full time/part time students, classified per category:
Junior Division (Grade School): “Who is General Miguel Malvar? What makes him my Hero?”
High School Division: “Who is General Miguel Malvar, the 2nd President of the Philippines?”
College Division: “Who is General Miguel Malvar in the context of modern society today?”
3. Format Criteria:
Number of words – (length)
Double Spaced Margins 1” on each side
Must be type written/ printed from computer
Font: Times New Roman, size 12
4. Contest Period: June 15, 2011 to August 31, 2011
5. Entry Rules:
a) Official Entry Form and Rules (download forms from GMM Centennial website) – official website will be online by June 15, 2011
b) All entry forms should be signed by the student-participant. Entry forms that are not signed shall not be considered.
c) Only one entry per student
d) All essay entries must be accompanied by the official entry form
e) Entries may be submitted to:
