Job Description
Our website is multi-lingual and we’re currently seeking for a versatile NATIVE Korean Translation Editor to support Stylesight’s on-going Korean contents. The Korean Translation Editor will work with Stylesight's in-house translation team by providing necessary support and assistance to his/her manager & the Korean team, as well as maintain language consistency & integrity throughout the Korean website.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate Korean translation team day-to-day business functions
- Edit/quality control Stylesight’s on-going Korean contents and website
- Conduct independent research on fashion related topics & terminologies to ensure content accuracy
Language Proficiency Requirement
ENGLISH: Advanced reading comprehension, plus fluent conversational skills
KOREAN: Native Korean speaker. Good knowledge in read AND type Korean
Qualification/Skills
- Able to produce high quality editing works under tight deadlines
- Able to conduct independent research on fashion related topics & terminologies in Korean to ensure content accuracy
- Good communication, coordination &organization skills
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Familiar with Apple’s MAC operating system
- Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, hard working individual
- Degrees in translation, fashion, textile, literature or related fields preferred
- Prior Korean copywriting/copyediting experience for fashion industry is a plus
- Able to work part time, on-site at Stylesight NYC headquarter and from home
Candidates MUST have US citizenship or permanent residency (green card)
