Maersk Global Service Centers (GSC) organization is a young entity in the Maersk Container Business. Our center team in Copenhagen is heading up the development and growth of the five Global Service Centers located in India, China and Philippines. The GSCs currently employ together some 5,000 colleagues.

Desired Candidate Profile
* Master degree in journalism and/or master’s in English
* Journalist with several years of writing experience from international media
* Must have worked as writing editor, or as writer and then editor. We need someone who has tried both and can do both in this position
* Some years of editing experience from international media
* Strong understanding and practice in how to write for different global audiences
* Ideally, writer has copywriting experience from an advertising agency
* Analytical skills
* Strong communication skills
* Detail-oriented being able to deliver flawless texts
* Innovative in finding new angles
* Self starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work independently
* Calm and has enough integrity to deal with difficult content owners in a constructive and professional manner
* Native speaker level of English
Job Description
* Write press releases based on interviews with the project owners.
* Write customer testimonials/case studies to be used by sales people, based on a detailed brief plus direct contact with the client manager and the customer himself.
* Produce 4-5 feature stories per week to be published on Global Connect
* Produce 3 press releases per month
* Produce 1 case study per month
* Support the various teams in the organisation in writing texts for internal and external audiences
* Review texts for brochures, product sheets, flyers, ensuring same tone of voice in all pieces
* Copywriting texts – intranet page texts, feature stories, news items, fact boxes for internal and external usage – based on a detailed brief and direct contact with the organisational content owner.
