Job Opening: Assistant Editor/ Senior Writer for Key Editions Singapore (publisher of Teenage, Child, d+a magazine)

A vibrant publishing house is seeking for capable and passionate professionals to join our team as:

Asst Editor/Senior Writer (Parenting)

(Singapore - Loyang (between Pasir Ris and Changi))

Responsibilities:

* Research, write and edit magazine
* Develop, coordinate and facilitate various editorial projects for the magazine
* Supervise editorial production of the magazine as well as plan in advance the progress and improvement of the magazine

Requirements:

* Degree holder (preferably Arts or Mass Communications – Journalism) with at least 2 years relevant work experience
* Background in journalism, publishing, media or advertising preferred; experience in parenting writing as well as a passion for magazine production would be a step up
* Able to conceptualise, research, write and edit magazine content
* Bi-lingual (English & Mandarin) - for business communication
* Familiar with online platforms e.g. Facebook, Twitter
* Creative and meticulous
* Knowledge in desktop publishing software is an advantage
* A team player with fun, sparkling personality is a must!
* Singapore Citizens and PRs only
