The online publication, newnation.sg, focuses on current affairs analysis and coverage for young adults. It is launching a writing competition targetted at tertiary students and would like to invite undergraduate students from NUS to participate.
This is a weekly writing competition, so students will get a chance to win $60 every week. In addition, their editors will work with the students to ensure their pieces are of a minimum standard before publication. All pieces that reach this minimum standard will get published, although eventually only one student wins the $60 each week.
The first deadline if on the 28th of Jan 2011 and the winner of the competition will be announced on the 30th Jan 2011.
