SENIOR RESEARCHER / WRITER / EDITOR
Job Description:
As senior researcher, spearheads and leads information gathering and data processing activities. As writer & editor, works closely with the analysts in the collation and integration of reports and analysis from various sources, writers and experts.
* Coordinate with external analysts and experts in the assessment of reports and information;
* Collate, review and integrate reports and analysis from various sources, writers and experts
* Monitor incoming traffic of situational alerts from various sources
* Profile and assess situations to determine their relevance and significance to the company’s areas of concerns and business operations
* Periodically update and advise client on significant situations
* Lead the team of Research Associates and Information Analysts
* Other relevant duties
Qualifications:
The candidate must have outstanding aptitude for thinking and writing analytically to a high standard, and an ability to convey complex information in a confident, credible and comprehensible manner.
* Background & Experience in Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence, Journalism, Business Risk Management
* Proficient in computer applications and use of the internet
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong analytical, problem solving & time management skills
* Willing to work on a shifting schedule, and to render extended hours
* Very good interpersonal relations and discipline
* A commitment to teamwork and the willingness to do both the interesting and more mundane aspects of the job
