If you’re a whiz in the kitchen, Archana’s Kitchen needs you. Archana is on the hunt for a new content and recipe editor to join her team.

In this role, you’ll be in charge of editing all recipes and other content in the website for accuracy, clarity, brevity and style. As an editor you will also need to understand cooking well enough to know when a direction is incorrect. You may also make suggestions for revisions in order to make the directions clearer to the intended audience. You’ll coordinate recipe content with the guest chef’s at Archana’s kitchen and work closely with Archana to plan and execute monthly features. Are you getting hungry yet?

You’ll also be generating ideas and writing display copies for sidebars, calendars and newsletters relating to the website. Basically, you’ll need to be a never-ending source of ideas.

If you have at least two years of recipe writing experience and top-notch copy editing skills, have a solid foundation in cooking, be able to make meals, but also accurately record the steps and the amounts of each ingredients, then you are good to apply. Interested?

KEY SKILLS:
  • Should have strong writing skills.
  • The candidate should be available online while working.
  • Should be passionate about writing and cooking. Flexible with working of different niches like food, technology, product reviews, travel etc.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
  • Degree
  • Strong Communication skills and writing skills

EXPECTED WORKING HOURS: 12 to 15 hours a week
