Apply for the Hong Kong Asia Film Script Development Fund

The HAF Script Development Fund is set up to support young filmmakers from the Chinese-speaking territories in Asia in the script development. With the aim of enhancing script development in the Chinese language, the Fund awards a total of HKD100,000 (approximately USD12,860) to the selected project.

Selection Criteria:

* Creativity
* with Asian or cross Asian cultural content
* with high potential for production with artistic and commercial qualities

Eligibility:

1. The applicant has made no more than 3 films as a director.

2. The submitted project is to provide the following materials:-

* Completed Project entry form
* Synopsis (500 words in English, 1,000 words in Chinese)
* Director's biography and filmography (500 words in English, 1,000 words in Chinese)
* Scriptwriter's biography (500 words in English, 1,000 words in Chinese)
* Company profile (500 words in English, 1,000 words in Chinese)
* Full Script (in Chinese and electronic version only)

3. The applicant can apply only for the HAF Script Development Fund (HAF 2011 application is closed).

1. ONE Project only from each director
2. Applications can only be processed if all requested materials are received by the deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
