News Editor (Singapore)

Responsibilities:


* Copyedit business commentary articles for newspapers and magazines
* Copyedit daily newswires that are supplied to global news vendors
* Edit corporate work, including press releases

Requirements:

* At least 3 years' experience in newspaper, magazine or web writing (On trade and/or business topics)
* Sensitivity to financial trends and interests in latest events happening in the business/financial sectors in China
* Competency in polishing and 'cleaning' up texts for analyst and writers
* Fluency in written and spoken English, ability to understand Chinese articles (Ability to write in Chinese is a plus)
* Resourcefulness to work efficiently, independently in multitask and fast-paced environment
