“CAWTAR” considers competitions as instruments to spread awareness and advocacy on issues of concern to it and on its projects. It makes the most of them in building a process bringing together targeted groups among individuals and institutions.
Hence, “CAWTAR” launched five competitions in 2008 targeting journalists, photographers, governmental associations and organizations, political parties, TV channels, audiovisual companies and amateur audiovisual designers and producers.
Journalists from across the Arab world are invited to submit works to the "Best Article Competition." Deadline to submit: March 31.
Works can be essays, news articles, analyatical reports and interviews. The competition is being run by the Center for Arab Women Training and Research (CAWTAR).
Works must have been published between January 1, 2010 and March, 31, 2011.
