Pei Wei Asian Diner is hosting a search for the ultimate blogger to join its chefs as they travel across Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan and Korea on an incredible culinary journey. Chef Eric Justice and his team will search for inspiration across the five countries featured on Pei Wei’s menu and the chosen blogger will share the international experience along the way.
So what does it take to be THE Pei Wei blogger? A talent for writing, a boundless appetite and willingness to experiment with the unknown, an eye for the unforgettable image and the ability to capture it, comfort both on-camera and behind the lens, a spontaneous spirit but a grounded work ethic, and a passion for Asian cuisine.
If you have what it takes to work on the other side of the world while engaging a local audience get started by following the directions below.
1. Sign into or create a Pei Wei account
2. Build your profile
* Minimum requirements are a unique nickname, a brief bio (about me), and 1 sample blog entry
3. Optional: You may also add up to 4 additional blog posts, 5 photos, and 1 video link to YouTube
All content is subject to a 24 hour review period. All profile submissions must be received by Monday, December 20.
We will select five finalists in early January, and we will select THE Pei Wei Blogger on Wednesday, January 19.

The Pei Wei blogger will eat everything from street food to five-star cuisine, trek from remote villages to world-renowned cities, and meet everyone from rural farmers to cutting-edge chefs. And along the way, he or she will capture the adventure on video, film and in daily blog posts.
Project travel will include:
* A trip to the Pei Wei home office in Scottsdale, AZ for Pei Wei brand immersion
* A 16 day trip across Pei Wei’s 5 Asian Countries
* Possible post-trip publicity the month after the trip
Your trip in Asia will take you to the following cities:
Our Destinations 1. Kyoto, Japan 2. Seoul, South Korea 3. Shanghai, China 4. Guangzhou, China 5. Saigon, Vietnam 6. Hoi An, Vietnam 7. Bangkok, Thailand 8. Hong Kong, China
Along the way you will be asked to share your experiences through our Pei Wei blog “The Great Asian Dish.” In Asia you will be blogging 2 or 3 times a day as you experience the tastes, sights, and sounds throughout Asia with your chef travel companions.

You will be representing the Pei Wei brand on what a will be rigorous culinary adventure. Therefore applicants must be/have:
* Age 21 or older
* In good physical health
* a Healthy appetite
* an Adventurous spirit
* a Willingness to experiment with foreign flavors
* Moderate travel experience
* A Sense of humor
* Spontaneity
* Talent as a writer, photographer, and videographer
* Comfortable in front of and behind a camera
* Tech-savvy
* a Legal resident of the U.S.
