Mergermarket is looking to hire a Deal Reporter with strong language skills based in Hong Kong. The candidate will be responsible for collecting advisory information on Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Private Equity deals. In addition, this entry-level position provides an excellent growth opportunity for self-motivated individuals to develop their skills in areas such as financial reporting and M&A research.
Key responsibilities:
* To collect advisory information for announced M&A deals across Asia-Pacific, concentrating in India
* To cultivate relationships with corporate executives and advisors to gain insight on M&A deals
* To assist in collating and preparing data for regional publications
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing person with an enthusiastic attitude. The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
* Interested in Mergers and Acquisitions
* Personable and thorough
* Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
* Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other Asian language is a plus
* A university degree in journalism or finance preferred
