Trade Journal Editor
The editor will be responsible for co-ordinating with internal departments to develop and align content focus for 3 of our Trade Magazines- Electronics, Gift and Home and Components, including a full range of editorial tasks from researching and writing, to layout and production.
Responsibilities:
* Arrange working schedule with internal department to commit to deadlines
* Develop, edit and proofread the editorial content of three trade magazines
* Monitor the quality of artwork and design in editorial sections.
* Arrange interviews with clients during tradeshow period
* Internet research for market information
* Provide editorial and language support to internal department on request
Qualifications:
* University degree in relevant discipline
* First-rate English writing & editing skills
* Fluent in spoken English and Chinese
* Ability to read Chinese preferred
* Punctual, proactive and able to work to strict deadlines
* Good general knowledge of trade practices
* Passion for technology gadgets is a plus
* 1 year of experience in English editorial a strong advantage
* Fresh graduate will also be considered
* Immediately available is preferred
