The International Center for Journalists, with the support of the Ford Foundation, is accepting applications for its newest program: Bringing Home the World: International Reporting for Minority Journalists.

Eight minority journalists will be part of a training session on how to become a foreign correspondent, which will be held in Washington, D.C. Following their training, the journalists will be sent on reporting assignments overseas—to the location of their choice—for up to three weeks, with all expenses covered. The program is open to journalists of all industries, including freelance.

Applicants must present a project proposal in their application, detailing the reporting project they would be interested in pursuing. The deadline for submitting applications is December 13th. For further information, please refer to the program website. You may also contact Marta Lopez (mlopez@icfj.org).
