A reproduction of Vietnam’s poetry book ‘Hoa Lu Thi Tap’ was presented to UNESCO on November 5th. The original copy weighs 8.3 kg and measures 42cm x 30.5cm x 0.7cm, as compared to the giant version with a weight of 54kg and measurements of 109cm x 70cm x 10 cm. ‘Hoa Lu Thi Tap’ is a collection of 121 poems written by Prof. PhD Hoang Quang Thuan and was printed on leatherette papers imported from the UK. The epic poems tell readers about the Dinh, Le and Ly dynasties of Vietnam, written in calligraphic style by Tran Quoc An who holds the record of writing a 30m-long calligraphy work on President Ho Chi Minh’s Prison Diary. The book is illustrated by Pham Tu and will receive a certificate on December 11th.
